Be sure to check the local review for your area's office, as reviews vary widely. Some locations have stellar reviews, others do not. It is also wise to check 3rd party websites for reviews, so you can be assured they are non-biased. Some have great experiences, some do not.
I went to Affordable Dentures in NC when I started on this path and had to get partials. I will say they were affordable, but I cannot say I was overly thrilled with the service or the outcome. Essentially, they ran an "assembly line" operation: get the patient in, do the work, and get them out as quickly as possible. The dentist was extremely rough, did not inform me of a great many things (my sight flashed for a moment due to the numbing and I was terrified), and generally didn't seem to care.
After my extractions, I had a lot of bleeding, but the dentist said he wasn't going to do any more sutures and I should see my regular physician in the morning if I was still bleeding. It stopped by morning, but I bled so bad, I vomited clotted blood due to having swallowed it in my sleep. My temporary partials were crammed into my mouth with little regard for my extreme discomfort (and I have a very high threshold of pain).
When I received my permanent set of partials, they never fit particularly well, regardless of how many times I had them adjusted. The staff simply didn't seem to care whatsoever, and though they were fairly courteous, there was a general sense of "you got what you paid for, now live with it" mentality. Given my low income at the time, that is just what I did, lived with it.
I now have full dentures, which I purchased at Aspen Dental in Ohio, and could not be more pleased. Once again, reviews are mixed, but it depends on the location. They aren't as cheap as Affordable Dentures, but after my prior experience and knowing I had to get full dentures, I went through considerable effort to save every penny I could. I liked the staff, the dentist was very honest and no-nonsense, he didn't try to push anything on me I didn't want, or sugar-coat the experience.
As previously stated, it all depends on location. Hope this helps!
