I have a few questions I was hoping some of you guys could answer from your personal experience. I see my dentist tomorrow hopefully but it'd be nice to have some feedback from people who have been through this. I have an immediate upper denture after getting all top teeth pulled. My questions are:

At what point did pain start to subside?

When did your swelling go down?

At what point did your gums start to heal over?

And I was also wondering if it's safe to take ibuprofen and paracetamol past the 3 day mark.

Hello Sonnnnny...
I had all teeth pulled and full dentures, so my experiences will be a bit worse than yours. Lol. But, wanted to weigh in for you. I had to wait nine months from extraction to denture fitting for the gums to properly heal. My pain and swelling lasted a few weeks and I was on pain meds right from the start. Not having lowers, you will have a way easier time than I have. Lowers are much worse than uppers. I've had dentures in almost a year and it is still a major chore and pain in the neck to deal with. But, as I said, you will have an easier time than that. Hope it all works out!!
