Wish I could help you. Talk to your dentist or oral surgeon and see if they know anyone in your same situation that you can talk to. I don't see why you can't play with dentures......practice practice practice as they say.

Be patient with yourself. I've had extractions and it takes time to heal. You should expect swelling for a few days and you will be making lots of adjustemrts, speech, eating, etc. , in the meantime. It can be very frustrating but be kind to yourself, you will get your "lip" back. I play the flute so I know. Good luck!

Good luck! Are you getting regular dentures or implant supported?

Regular for now, but can get the implants later.

Highly recommend the implants and don't wait too long to have them placed as your bone deteriorates after extractions. Reg. dentures are no fun. .
