I had a big problem.with my medicaid set.the top.was horrible and way to big for my mouth. The guy in the lab where I went a.week.later to.get them replaced told me they looked like they weren't made for me.. They made me a new set that I paid 600$ for and I've had that set ever since.. The set they made was so much better.. NY medicaid teeth came out really bad experience for. Me.. I wasn't that lucky I guess.

i live in ca-retired and we have what they cal denti-cal-same as medicaid-MANY dentists accept it but it's like any other profession-finding a dentist who works with a 'good lab' because the dentist doesn't make the denture-they take an impression and send it to the lab. so it's really hard to know who-even with google and reviews and groups like this.  i worked in a dental lab. for 2 yrs. and i wouldn't let the owner make my dentures-he makes horrible dentures-i'm still looking-i need my lower partial and my upper replaced-by someone who knows how to make a natural looking smile-i'm trying to find a denture tech. who will work 'with me'...'see me'....at the wax try-in so we can make it look 'natural'...i feel for all of us here and i see, some of you got good smiles.  no one understands what we go through-something you have to live through to understand.
