I am new here, 4 days in with full upper denture. I am terrified of sleeping without my denture as I still have all my bottom teeth. What can I do?

I take them out to rinise and clean them and my mouth and then I put them back in.

Don't worry about bed time upper and even lower ones. My dentist is really good but very expensive. She had told me not to wear them at night before bed. Two reasons she gave to me. Let gums rest and heal from the use of dentures all day long. It helps prevent and or helps with soreness. Second of all you can chike onb them while sleeping. I find it easier not to wear them at night. I just got my upper and lower full sets a few weeks ago. Im already eating hamburgers, hot dogs and even first time with dentures felt my gums to not be sore wearing them during the day time. I just gotten my stitches out aa well kess then 48 hours. I still cant eat certain foods just yet. I sure determined to find such ways. Nuts i crush them up so much almist to wet powdery like. I hope this helps
Goid luck on your part as wwll.

The dentist I go to said no need to come back in unless I have problems with them. I didn't really get any instructions except for take them out after the first 24 hours to clean them. So I have been sleeping with them at night cause my bottom teeth hit my upper gums and it hurts. Everything looks to be healing good. Is there anything anyone suggest to do at night so bottom teeth doesn't touch upper gums right now.

I am a stay at home mom so I take them out during the day as much as I can. If that helps any.
