Well watch some some videos on YouTube I recommend bill westlund I also share my story with there's a lot of YouTubers that talk about that kind of thing it could be that the pallet is too far back :-)

Thank u it loose too I decided to wait see if my gum can heal after my extraction I watch lot of YouTube

I think we all gag at some point.  It takes a while for things to settle in.

HI, MY NAME IS ANDREW FROM CALIF..AND I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM, AND YOU DO HAVE TO RELEX YOUR TONGUE,AS WELL I DON'T LIKE THING IN THE BACK OF MY MOUTH, SO I TOOK MY DREMAL TOOL AND GRINDED THE EXCESS MATERIAL EACH END OF MY DETURE. AND THAT HELPED A LOT!!!!!

I went back the next day after I got my immediate dentures...couldn't even drink a glass of water without gagging.  They adjusted/grinded the pallet and no gagging now.  However it is only day 4, not eating much just drinking shakes, mashed potatoes...find it hard to chew anything at this point.

Your doing fine it's been 9 months now for me, no pain and I can eat everything, lol
