i actually cried for a couple of days because when the dentures are out and i look at myself i just say why did you do this to yourself..had a lot of problems trying to get use to them, it's been about 4 weeks for me, and i still find things hard to deal with, the only thing is i like seeing a straight smile, never had that..can't stand taking them out at night because trying to get the fixodent goo out is gross.. hope everything is working out better for you
I have a problem with the "goo" too. But, rinsing with warm water before trying to get it out helps a lot. it softens it and doesn't make it so messy. I go for my first soft reline today. Based on what others are saying, not sure if it is going to work as I can't have lowers in without the goo and the uppers are too loose now with the multiple adjustments the dental tech has done. The more they do, the more it seems loose to me and now the uppers require goo when they didn't always have to.
