I'm apologizing in advance for the nature of my question. (18+)

So this is a bit of an explicit question but I feel it is valid and definitely one that I would rather have answered from experience rather than knowledge.
Oral Sex! Is it weird to do this after you get dentures? Should I keep them in or take them out? Also how long should I wait after getting my immediate dentures before I do it.

I have a pretty active sex life with my bf and going a few days without is quite hard for us. I'm just wondering what we need to prepare ourselves for.

Thank you so much and again I am sorry for the nature of my question.

All I can advise is to try it with the dentures in.  If he doesn't like it.  Remove them.

It is a valid, and important question. I can't answer just yet, it's only been eleven days since I had 17 extractions and upper denture placed, and my husbands been gone for the last week anyway. I will say I was also concerned about it but as the healing has progressed and I've had two adjustments, I've gotten more comfortable with the idea. I don't think it will be much different. I think it would take me a while to even consider going without teeth in, I'm still pretty self conscious about it, but I can see where it would appeal to a man sensation wise. I guess I'll figure out what works - it's not like after 18 years I could suddenly stop. He'd be crushed lol.

Ok....I haven't posted on here yet, but I couldn't resist this question.  I had my bottoms done in Dec so I am pretty much healed and good to go.  In about January....1 month post ...My husband got kinda frisky one morning and being half asleep AND  forgetting completely that I don't sleep in my teeth, I just went for it.  It hit me soon into it, that I suddenly had alot of room to play with and I didn't have to be so careful not to bite or scrape.  Yay!!!  It was different in a wonderful way.  I could be far more aggressive and playful and fun.  Afterwards my husband was just floored with how great it was.  He assumed it was because it had been a while, only then did I confess that I was bottomless for this experience.  I am having my tops done on the 11th of May, and I do think that my hubby is looking forward to this even more than I am.  No its not the same....it's better for this particular hobby and you will be amazed at how much passion you can put into this with out worrying that you'll hurt your partner.  Love....Love....Love it............

Congrats to you and just keep remember to keep it light and fun.  Lifes too short to stress.  It may take some things away from us....but it gives back too, sometimes in the most unexpected ways.

Oh my thats too good. You go girl lol. Yes its different a woman I was dating had uppers and the same thing happened to us in the middle of the night lol. All I can say is its different. Couldnt really tell the dentures from real teeth I didnt even know she had them for a while.  I have a upper partial and to me its easier to please a woman  orally with all my front teeth but then again Im only missing 1 front tooth. Not sure how a woman would like it with no teeth but this is a really good question and a good conversation topic as well. More people should tell about their experiences lol. Have a great day everyone

You are right, Joe, that communication is the key.  I got dentures last fall and am still slightly self-conscious.  However, when one gets past age 60, most men and women already wear some kind of denture appliance.  I decided I didn't care to date someone who objected.  Accidents happen, as we all know.

I am just now seeing this post and I must say that I was both shocked and happy to see that someone asked this!

I know that my hubby refers to it as a "gum job" and is definitely looking forward to one!
