Mouth piece while denture is out - sinking mouth

I am 1 week in with my full denture set.  I received mini implants on the bottom to hopefully prevent the horror of a bottom denture.  I have not been able to wear the bottom due to the implants healing and bonding to the bone.  I have been wearing my top and so far I am happy as can be with them.  I am 40 year old female and have been struggling with teeth issues for many years.  I am not comfortable wearing my denture all the time and would like to take them out but my mouth is sinking in.  It makes me look horrible and I don't want my husband to see my mouth like that.   When not wearing, I push my lip out with my tongue.  I was hoping there was something soft and comfortable I could wear that would keep my lips from sucking in.

When my daughter seen me without my denture in, she said "Oh my god mom, your mouth"  I was crushed.

I know exactly what you top lip falls back or sinks in...whatever you call it as soon as I take my tops out. I dont know of anything to correct it...might ask your dentist. Its cause the upper gum bone is so high now and there is nothing for the lip to rest on. I remember when I saw my mom without her dentures for the first time when I was a child I thought omg that looks so funny and had to keep from laughing. Please let me know if you find something to make it better....but I dont think you will...except leave your top in all the time except to clean.

I'm going through the same thing. I am 68, had 16 extractions and immediate dentures 15 days ago. I haven't found anything to fill your lips, like a gel denture to wear when your dentures are out. I bet if a dentist invented this, he would make a fortune! The first time I took my dentures out, I was horrified and I won't let my husband see me without them.
