Nasty tasting soft liner

How do I get the taste of the soft liner out of my mouth without ruining the liner

I soak my denture in water and alcohol free mouthwash overnite after doing my soft liner

I know. It is the worst. Soaking overnight using a cleaning tab does the trick. In my case, cleaning tabs do no damage to the soft liner.

First week of the pink-soft-reline: Yes, it makes for better comfort.

Yes, it tastes terrible.

It taints, with that yucky taste, whatever might ' taste good' foodwise otherwise.

(There are tradeoffs for benefits, yes.)

Denturist suggested soaking them in a solution of a teaspoon of baking soda in 8 ozs. warm water.
