Had all teeth removed and dentures in the same day. How long do I need to keep them in before removing for cleaning and rinsing my mouth?

You should take them out every night this wlii help your gums to heal much quicker put them in steradent over night use a denture toothpaste as ordinary toothpaste will scratch them I use salt water then a mouthwash called oraldene its great don't rinse it out with water also I use a corsodal gel specially for sore gums hope this is helpful info it works for me and I've only had my dentures in for the 3rd wk today good luck

Leave them in for 24 hours and then only take them out to clean them for the next few days. This helps keep the swelling down. Your dentist should have told you when you could start taking them out at night, but definitely wait 3 or 4 days before leaving them out for any length of time. You can use anti bacterial soap to "brush" them.
