Odd, maybe gross question?

So I had my extractions and temporary dentures put in last week, and besides all of the other weird things going on with them, I have noticed these white outlines on the insides of my lips. It's like layers of skin bunching up? I don't know. It doesn't matter how often I brush or clean, it comes right back after I've had my dentures back in, even without eating or drinking anything.

Is this normal? Am I just going insane? Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, Susan,
I had that, as well.
While that has gone away, puffy lips, DRY lips, and lips not fully sensitized are the case for me now (4 weeks out ).

You have to remember that your teeth were on top of your gums and now, your dentures cover much more of the gums. Just pressure points on the inside of your lips. It will pass as your mouth gets used to the teeth.
