Need some advice, I have very bad teeth, still have two top front teeth and couple at the back plus couple at bottom. Due to mental health problems etc and fear if dentist I didn't see a dentist for years. In middle of last year I finally went to dentist where they gave me a partial dentures top and bottom but I have a lot of broken decayed roots in top and even after month's of trying to get used to teeth as looks a lot better should the dentist of left so many rotten roots in my mouth.

You need to get roots/old teeth removed, leads to infection and possible Heart Disease .....old broken teeth are the door to all infections.....Mouth is a cess pool....

You should have your teeth that are decaying extracted. You should also ask if you can have your upper partial converted into a full upper- Upper Repair= impressions, adding new denture teeth to extracted areas,if there are clasps the clasps can be cut off. and once your remaining teeth on upper heal (no sooner than 6mths) have a Hard Reline done. The Hard Reline will help improve the fit and suction on the upper once the extractions heal.  Not sure what kind of upper partial you have. The best thing is to get a new full upper but if you can't afford that seeing how you just got the partials that will be your best option. If you can save any teeth on your lower keep them. Even one or two. It will help keep the lower stable. Full uppers have covered palate which gives suction.  Full Lowers unfortunately aren't great when it comes to stability. Hope this helps. Good luck!
