Price of "all on 4" dental implants? (Canada)

I was just diagnosed with mild periodontis with little bone loss and I know the effect it can have on your health and with 2 small children I am horrified at the fact of something happening to me. I am 26, my teeth look fine and the dentist says it is manageable but I don't agree and think he didn't look into it enough. I am considering having all my teeth removed and using the "all on 4" dental implants.. does anyone have any advice (pricing, etc)

Thank you!

Take a deep breath.  DO NOT pull your teeth.  Go on a regular basis to get your teeth check.  You are only 26 PLEASE DO NOT pull your teeth.  Believe me your condition is manageable.  Once you pull there is no going back.

Dear God!! No, don't do it. You have no idea if you will tolerate dentures. Some folks do but my dentist said 30% NEVER adjust. Guess I'm one. 2 years and still can't eat. Would do ANYTHING. To save my teeth.

You're looking at $25,000 - $30,000 US per arch for All-On-Fours.
Sounds like you're jumping the gun on getting all your teeth removed.
If it gets to the point you're getting multiple crowns and bridge work done...
Reconsider your options at that point.
MANY of us on here have had GREAT experiences with our Dentures.

Yes I absolutely LOVE mine.but being so young get a few different opinions on what's best for u. See if they can b saved and if so what needs to b done. As Ted said if u get to having to need all kinds of work done as u go then consider dentures. I love not hurting and love my new smile but if there was any way I could have saved my natural teeth I would have. But for me that just wasn't an option. Get 2nd and 3rd opinions

As long as you follow the treatment plan your dentist sets up for you they can keep the gum disease under control and keep your teeth in good shape.

As Ted said, you wait for out of control dental work to be needed before you start thinking about dentures

Chantel don't give up on what you have now. Like a few mentioned on here if you have to start spending a lot of money on crowns, bridges etc then it would be wise to consider dentures and all your options at that point. My hygienist was concerned because my gums were bleeding one day when I was getting scaling done. Dentist came in and said could be stress and mild gum disease. My gums have receded a little more than "expected" at my age-42. I was panicking about what was to come as I don't have dental insurance and my hubby needs work done that he hasn't done cuz we can't afford it.  I went in for about 4 cleanings after that- (in one yr). It was annoying and pricey but the bleeding has stopped at my last 2 appts and I don't have to go 4 times a yr now. I have to go twice a yr and hopefully that will change to once a yr or every 9 months. My gums don't bleed when I floss either which is great. Dentures are a great option for people in pain and need to be healthy and smile again but don't jump the gun if  its not time for you yet. All on 4's here in Canada are about $25-30 grand.

Is that meant to be negative towards me Ted or the unfortunate fact that I've stated?

EFFIN Trolls that are nothing but haters!!!! You can't handle someone generally being nice!!!!!  I'm 99% certain you've posted a similar comment to me in the past but I don't have time for HATERS AND LOSER FOLLOWERS!  I've seen this comment in the past. You are a FOLLOWER to you know who!  What a joke. I am kind. I don't come from money. I don't work for a DENTIST! GOT IT! I happened to have access to the fee guides in Canada like this nice person asked and gave her info I know. Get over it!!!! Why you got to hate so much????? I was a bartender for yrs and lucky I stumbled into this field. ANDDD it so happens because I love people so much and helping them working in a Denture Clinic is the best choice I made out of the 3. Dental office...meh. Dental Lab.....I wish what I know now I knew then. Denture Clinic....I get to go through the process with them and try and help them and make them happy. You got a problem with that???? Go fuck yourself!!!!! Drop mic. You and your stupid buds that even create fake accts win!!!!!!  Sorry to the rest of you that I give a hoot and want to help so you get the best treatment you can and don't get overcharged!!!! Have a nice life Ted. You are a SHEEP!!!! Stupid follower. I'm sorry for swearing but I'm sick of it. All you haters that seem to love the guy on Etsy hate me!!! Why? I give that guy praise. He's helping many of you that seem happy with his work. I work for a Denturist and also assist him in work so what's the difference???? Effin bullies!!!!! After the last yr you haters have definitely gave me more lessons on how cruel this world is. i may be showing anger now but that's because I've kept it all in and all you trolls and your behaviour. I'm an it what it is girl and always have to work hard for things which I don't have much! I don't have Dental insurance like a lot of you lucky people have and yea even though I work at a Denture Clinic!!!!! I had enough so yea I might swear like I am in hear but that's what happens sometimes after being BULLIED for so long for nothing!!!!!You all have to learn what general natural kindness is.  WORK ON THAT MOFOS!!!!! PFFFT!

If you don't have nice things to say you shouldn't say anything at all. You have bullied me from the start for no reason. There's nothing wrong if I have information that may help people. If you don't like it keep scrolling.

Do not pull yout teeth unless you have to. I had all my uppers removed and all on 4 inplants. Six years later I had to have othem all removed because they kept getting infected and 1 was accually loose. I now have a denture which I hate. It has been 18 months with a upper dentures and iI still can't get use to wearing it. Do everything you can to save your teeth.

It's a personal "choice" everyone must make Beth.
Sometimes it's voluntary and other times it is not.
Not everyone on here has had a negative experience with Dentures.
I did everything I could to save my OEM teeth and could have continued to pour even more money into my mouth.
I did A LOT of research and was scared as heck on my E-Day like everyone else.
MANY failed Bridges, Crowns, Posts later and due primarily to bruxism and genetics....
I view getting Dentures as one of the best decisions I ever made.
I looked into 3M ESPE MDI, but in the end saved the $2k and tried traditional dentures first.  Again, I am happy I did.

Having to get Dentures really isn't a choice for most.  It's the option between eating and not. What I have now,(upper) beats the hell out of what I had. BONUS.... My BP has come down with the loss of infections.  Smiling and not covering my mouth is another bonus.
