I had my teeth removed, on advice of my PCP. At the time this was done, I was assured that dentures were covered by my insurance. Now I am told that my insurance never covered dentures and I was given the wrong information. So Sorry. I have no teeth, my disability is too low to arrange payments. What do I do now?

I’m so sorry to hear that this happened to you! One thing you can try is contacting your state or local dental society to find out if the organization has any resources for the public related to the cost of dental services. Some states’ Medicaid programs might cover a portion of the dentures as well. You could also try contacting a local dental school; if you are willing to let a dental student do the work while being supervised by a dentist, it might be more affordable. Hope this helps, and best of luck!
