Secure Denture Adhesive

In my quest to find something to hold my partial in place, I ordered Secure Dental Adhesive off of Amazon. I have been through most all, powders, fixodent, Polygrip. I even threw away 35 bucks and got comfort lining, Which is a useless product, in my opinion it's a scam. Well I got the Secure Adhesive and was hoping it did what it claimed which is hold for 12 hours. Well the first couple of days when i added the paste to my partial, it did feel tighter, but by the afternoon, I felt the partial begin to loosen. This happened for 3 or 4 days. I was really disappointed. So I go to their website and read that if the product does not hold for 12 hours use more paste. So it's like trial and error. Well on this past Monday I used more as directed and I went the entire day and night with my partial secure...i took it out Tuesday morning, cleaned it and then again applied secure and once again I went the full day and night. I must say FOR ME Secure Denture  Adhesive is worth the money and is a a superior product to fixodent or polygrip..Maybe this is a bit premature after only 2 days but I think i'm on to something here......I would recommend this to all users.

I use secure paste on my uppers and the strips on my lowers. It's the only one that lasts for me. It's nice to go all day without having to mess with my dentures. I have a terrible habit of grinding my teeth when stressed. If I keep that under control, it lasts much longer. I wish we could purchase it locally.

Yes, I agree. Secure holds better than the rest. I only wish I could buy it here in the DE area. Shipping and handling ands an extra 4.99. I just got 2 more tubes from Vitacost  5.42 each.
Is Amazon less expensive?. Help on a fixed income!  Need a relign on the bottom.

I believe it is. I pay extra for Amazon prime and receive free shipping. I've saved more on shipping than what I paid for Prime.

I believe so. You have different vendors to choose from. I normally purchase a few months worth at a time.

I cut each tape into 3 and shorten the ends to fit lower denture, that gives me 30 instead of 10 from each box. Then add a dab of Secure adhesive to each side and that really helps.

Ramona- I have Amazon prime and the 1.4oz. tube was $8.00 with free 2 day shipping...I hear ya about being on a tight budget...But i think in the long run you will spend less with better results using secure...
