Soft reline and teeth are still too big

I am two weeks post extractions with immediate dentures. I’ve had problems since the beginning with the fit, and have used adhesive since day two. Today the dentures got so big they simply fell out. I went and got a reline...when I got home they fell out again. I have adhesive on again but they’re still really big. Is this normal? I feel like my prosthodontist isn’t listening to me. I’m debating finding someone else to take over care from here on out. Suggestions??? Thank you!

First ask your  dentist to fix the problem
tell him if he   does not  fix the problem   you will be forced to ask for a refund or sue for a refund
You certainly should go to a dentist that listens to you

Ali, you had mentioned that the dentures got so big they just fell out. So I'm chance have you lost weight since you got the extractions? I'm asking because I lost weight after. I'm one that has trouble even losing a few pounds, but since I couldn't eat hardly anything ( and I ran a fever) I had this problem. The office I went to said no, that wouldn't be the reason. But, I had. Lost at least 10lbs in couple weeks. I got very frustrated...but mine never fit right couple more weeks I put on the weight that I was about time they took the impressions, and they fit better. Also, by that time I had healed more. I can only wear my uppers now.. Eve 2 years later. But at least they stay in. My weight goes up and down all the time and, if I lose too much, they do feel too big again. Maybe you just need a bit more healing time. I was told to see a prosthodontist by my dentist office...but I couldn't afford. I was told they could fix any problem I had. Now I'm wondering....take care

They are too big if they fall out like that!!  Being a temporary , I hope.  It takes a few months after your teeth have been pulled before your gums finally get all the swelling out.  If they are permanent you definitely need to call and ask to have your appt. with the dentist.  They seem to not want to do them again, but insist, letting them know they are too big!!  Don't let them bully you or talk circles around what you are telling them.  They should not fall out !!
