Today was my first day back in the office since having all my teeth extracted on 8/31. I wore only my top denture as I can fixodent them in. I can't use fixodent on my bottoms yet as I am still healing. I have an incredible amount of pain and swelling tonight after having worn them for about 10 hours straight. They are way too loose, so I am constantly pushing up on them to try to re-stick them to the roof of my mouth. I'm just at my wits end.....

Get some Secure Denture Adhesive.  Amazon or eBay.

I tried it on my bottoms after my soft reline and had a heck of a time getting it off my gums and denture. Any suggestions? It worked great though.

Agreed it is not easy to get it off. And I hate the of it in my mouth when I take out the dentures. So,what I do is......as soon as denture comes out. I get a mouthful of very wq5m water and start swishing. It loosens the stuff off my gums so I can spit it out. Sometimes I also use a soft baby toothbrush to brush my gums a little. Then I use a denture brush, dip it in baking soda. And use that, with warm water to get the denture clean

It will help some, once you get your lowers in. They sort of help balance the uppers in. Doesn't help when you are eating though.
