As with every Easter, I spent the day with friends sporting our extravagantly decorated Easter bonnets in St. Augustine.  We started out with Mimosas and snacks.  I had onion rings, fried green tomatoes and cheese sticks.  The only issue was with the onion rings - the onion was tough.  Then I had fish and chips and actually ate french fries for the first time in forever!   Then we just walked around as we do, in our bonnets.  For the first time in a while, I was not worried about smiling for people who asked for our photo (yes, they do and they ask to be in photos with us).  I have smiled so much my jaws are tired!  But it was a great day and my bottoms didn't pop loose until we were heading for the cars and home.  A very good day!

As a complete and total unrelated aside - the hat started out brown/tan.  I painted it.  Then proceeded to hot glue flowers, eggs (glitter) all over it.  It's fun and the lack of worry about my teeth made it a gazillion times better!
