This weekend has been great for food, which is odd because these suckers are LOOSE! Even with adhesive the uppers rock around like crazy when I chew... and let’s be real here, adhesive works for about 3.5 seconds on the bottom lol 34 days in (but who’s counting) and I have finally chomped my way through some pizza, a bacon jalapeño burger from Wendy’s, captain crunch, Pringle’s, a turkey sandwich, and chicken. By far the hardest thing to bite into (and chew) oddly enough was the plain old turkey sandwich lol not the healthiest choices I’ve made this weekend but honestly Ive never been more excited to bite into a grease ball burger in my life! I really think a reline would help even further. I gotta imagine a better fit equals increased comfort while eating right? I’m certainly managing but each meal comes with its own set of challenges. Gotta try to convince my dentist to do one soon.

Good for you and your eating accomplishment (s)!
It sounds like your definitely in need of a reline, they should not be that loose. Keep up the great work and positivity.
Your rocking this!!!! :)

Thank you Lisa! I had an appointment for one last week but My dentist wants to wait until I hit 3 months to let the gums smooth out. But I’ve gotten some pretty god advice on here so I’m going to try again to get them to do it. I’m managing now but I don’t think for much longer

Sounds great. Yes, the reline will add comfort while eating. Right now, I’ve been able to eat anything I want (although I haven’t tried a steak).
If I can remember, I’ll upload pictures of how I secure my bottom partial. It has worked great for me, and they have never reline my bottom. So after 80 some days you can imagine how loose it is. In the mean time, look up combo adhesive on YouTube. It will show you how to combine paste and powder adhesive. It holds mine well over 16 hours a day.

Keep your head up! Your attitude is great and will be very helpful to you.

You guys should blow your cheeks like a chipmunk and see if that helps. That's a tip we've given before and it seems to break the seal. Great to hear you may have trouble getting them out due to a great hold and suction...adhesive or not. :)

I’ve tried it. They need some serious attention to come out now. But I’d rather spend and hour at night getting them out than fight the rocking and slipping all day :)

I say that, it really only takes like 5 minutes

They were definitely challenging to get out and removing the adhesive from my gums and the roof of my mouth was super fun lol. But yeah, I agree 100%. I’d much rather have to take the extra time at the end of the day to get them out and clean up than to deal with all the slipping throughout the day! I noticed also, once I got them out, I had almost no food particles underneath. That was pretty freaking awesome! Today was another great day!
