I've had dentures for 16 years and had trouble with having that I wouldn't wear them. My niece worked at an orthodontist so I went their and the girl in the lab shaved the top one down. It looks almost like the bottom one. So I had to wear adhesive from day one. I have always using the adhesive Fixodent .ke then once a day because they always get loose. So what should I do? Any suggestions? I've tried everything different Fixodents creams and powders and right now I'm at a loss of what to do.

Hi Kathy, Fixodent is formulated to hold all day and should only be applied once per day. If you’re finding that you have to apply more often, mention this to your dentist as an adjustment or reline may help. Some factors that can affect the hold of a denture adhesive include the fit of your denture, changes in the condition of your gums or bone structure, very hot or very cold food, or any medications you may be taking.

Please consider giving us a call at 1-800-214-8871 so we can learn more and talk through your experience. We're open Monday through Friday from 9:00-6:00 EST and would be happy to help. Thanks!
