Wearing partial after teeth pulled

I just had some bottom teeth pulled and have a temporary partial. I put the partial in the next day. I am afraid to take out because of swelling and getting it back in. But I think I should take it out to rinse with prescription mouth wash. Dentist did not give me instructions if I should be taking it in and out. Everything feels fine, taking Motrine for pain. Does anyone know if I should just leave the partial in and use mouth wash? Or take it out? So glad to find the sit.

Hi Kay, I took out mine at night and morning put in, !  You mention you should ! I was given instruction from the assistant , what to do to help the swelling to go down & to keep my dentures clean, & gums. The best to you & you will hear from others ! I kept  surfing the site & reading others comments....Blessings  for your well being on your adventure with Dentures ! Mary L, Thompson

Hello Kay I just had teeth pulled and dentures put right in. Wow the soreness I use lots of ice packs and rinse with warm salt water the trick I find helps me is I add a little listerine in the warm salt water that helps a lot so ice packs warm mouth rinse and ibprofen and pray!
