Welcome back from wherever you've been. You haven't been off somewhere getting married again, have you? LOL

Did you see my "hard reline" post about what Affordable Dentures  on my hard reline? I looked like a piranha or a bulldog... maybe a cross between the two? LOL

They gave me a class 3 (I think) underbite. I ground out the reline and am in the process of redoing it myself. Someone said I wouldn't accept them like that, I wasted one day of vacation at Affordable Dentures. I didn't want to spend the rest of the vacation there! I figured after the reline, that set belongs to me and if I screw them up, so what? I would rather wear the ones I made than wear those the way they fit. If you think they look bad here you should have seen them BEFORE they adjusted the bite! LOL

The teeth themselves look pretty good, maybe a little too bright white, if they fit my gums properly.

I shifted the upper forward and the lower one to the rear, but couldn't close my mouth! My wife says I have a problem closing my mouth anyway.... LOL  I took a little off the rear teeth and got them to where they almost close. I ordered some articulation paper so I can tell what I am doing and won't take too much off or in the wrong spots.

Wish me luck!

Haha thanks Ken! You so funny! :p Been busy at work giving people smiles ;) ...that's how we roll. I agree that the teeth are pretty nice but I do notice in your 1st pic wearing them that your lower centrals don't match with your upper. It's like your upper is to the right a smidge and your lower is to the left. Not sure where your midline is but if I'm correct you have to try and place the teeth according to your midline so your centrals (upper/lower) are in the front center! lol I'd have to clarify that with my boss on how that works when doing a set up. He was at a seminar for 2 days and I will try and show him on Monday if we aren't too busy. We already have 2 repairs and a Reline booked plus other appts and processing (dentures) that day. Depending on what class you are sometimes it's difficult to fabricate it into a class 1 and not sure what you are in naturally. I've heard my boss in the back sometimes mention while doing a set up that "this one is going to be tough" but he loves the challenge. Do me a favor if you can and post on here the pics of your models again. I'm not sure if that will help but I'm curious to hear my employers' input on this. Yes! Articulating paper is great! Good luck!!! :)

You are right about the midline. They were off 1/2 tooth that way as well as the underbite. I twisted the upper in one direction and the lower in the other after grinding their reline out and using the teeth as a custom tray for my impressions. They herd 'em through like cattle up there at AD. I should have just done them myself to start with. It would have been easier than redoing them. I've got them pretty much straightened out now. Upper and lower incisors line up centered with each other. Uppers are slightly anterior to the lowers. Now if my mouth would just close! LOL Seriously, they are back to about the way they were originally made, When they were new, the upper and lower came straight together with no overjet. I think I got  a little bit better alignment than they did, but I need to do a little tweeking to get the type of occlusion I want. I think I'll hold off till I get the articulating paper, so I don't remove too much or in the wrong place.
