Why can't I select communities to pull listings from for my post. Only cities works

The idxpress insert for a selected community on a post has different communities in another state than where I am. Can I change that or does diverse solutions have to change it in the back end. I can only select by town and not community. Does anyone know how that works ? Leesburg VA

I'm having the same problem. I created a page for Twin Creeks Country Club in Cedar Park and used this short code:

    "[idx-listings city="cedar park" community="twin creeks country club" count="10"]"

I get all Cedar Park listings to show up, it doesn't filter by the community.

In addition, the disclaimer is showing up below my footer for some reason.

Code Issue Resolved. I was trying to write my own short codes instead of using the built in dsIDXPpress tool in the post editor. Much easier once I let the tool generate the code = )

I was able to fix it prior to using the generator by removed the "city" filter alltogether and just using "community" and "zip code." Now if the ugle looking disclaimer in the footer can be fixed/changed.

Most other providers put the disclaimer in line with the list of properties at the bottom of the list. Much better and more professional.

  • Israel: Getting each MLS to approve the display of their data this way was a bit of a challenge and part of getting them to approve this product was providing them a guarantee about the display of their required logo/disclaimer info.

The way the system is setup...

    1. Link structure pages are generated by the plugin. Because these are not pages you can modify the disclaimer/logo info shows at the bottom of the main content container.

    2. Any OTHER page with listing data you can control. You can add multiple widgets, several short code lines, etc to the main content area, sidebars, and depending on your other HTML widgets; maybe other parts of your pages. So, instead of showing the disclaimer beneath every instance of IDX data, we put that info in your site footer. This way you can put the data anywhere on any page and still be compliant.
