What is a blog endpoint?

I want to add Dopplr to my blog. However when I input my information I'm told "Couldn't add that weblog: endpoint is required. ". What does that mean?

I really like Dopplr but it seems as you add more features the only explanations are tucked away somewhere in your blog and it is becoming increasingly difficult to work out what is going on.

The endpoint is a piece of MetaWeblog arcana that tells the Dopplr server how to talk to your blogging engine. Ideally this should have been auto-discovered when you told us the address of your blog - can you tell me where your blog lives so that I can try to find out why that didn't work?

Until then, there's a useful list of endpoints for various blogging engines here: http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/docs/pgs/tocE...
