Time is of the essence

Besides the numeric value of the vote, each photo will have "time" value, that will indicate the average time that viewers examined the photo before placing thier vote.
Each member will have "average voting time" value in his profile that will indicate how much time he is dedicating to the photos before placing his vote.

I like the thought here. My main concern is accuracy. For instance, I may be in the middle of voting, and my son wakes up. that image could be on my screen for 30 minutes or more before I vote on it. Not only does that highly inflate my average, but also the image's average, and make both number inaccurate.

You are right of course.
I believe there are some options that can help us reduce this phenomena. for example - pop up that will ask "are you still there?" (first after 5-7 minutes so it won't bother the regular user, then after 10-12 minutes, etc..)

Not sure what the value of this is. To suggest this implies that there is a minimum amount of time that is required for a person to make a quality judgement. Since every person is unique I just don't see the value.
