Below is a perfect example of the power of the Algorithm and how it can prevent human error.

League Settings
  • Draft Slot 8
  • Starters (1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DT)
  • Current Starters (1QB, 3RB, 2WR, 1TE)
  • GM Settings: Optimize Core Starters
At first glance looking at your current starters, smart money would say to take a WR for your next pick. This is not the case.  Below I will display photos of both scenarios:  A.  Taking the top Recommended player (L. Blount) and B.  Filling your starter first (B. Lafell).

Scenario A:(click photo for full view)

As you can see in the photo above, your point total for your 8th and 9th round pick(Blount, Lafell) is at -24

Scenario B:

As you can see in the photo above, your point total for your 8th and 9th round
pick (Lafell, Blue) is at -42

In this scenario because of Lafell's ADP, the app is recommending to take your 2nd bench RB first.  By doing this, you will still be getting the same WR3 in Lafell but you will be gaining 18 points to your bench total with getting Blount over Blue
