Sync Dropbox with Google Docs

I saw this feature at Syncplicity
http://syncplicity.com/Tour/SyncWithG...

it reads:
--------------
Sync with Google Docs
When you associate your Google Docs account with your Syncplicity account, you also pick a folder on your computer that will represent your Google Docs account. The two will be linked.
This means any document created in that folder will appear in Google Docs and vice versa. Changes you make to documents in either location will automatically sync back and forth.
Use your favorite desktop word processor to view and edit your documents when you’re offline and they’ll be automatically synced back to Google Docs when you come online.
Or use Google Docs’ sharing capabilities to collaborate on your documents that way. You no longer have to choose between one or the other.
-------------

What do you think? any chance implanting something like this in the future?

Agreed. Especially since Syncplicity pulled support for their OSX client.

This would be great. I'm looking for a way to sync my gdocs with my mac. I'm trying out an add on for open office but OO isn't exactly great on os x. If dropbox would do it I'd be very happy

I know Dropbox had this on their possible feature list 2 years ago. I just wonder why it never got implemented? It would really make my life much easier.

If you use Dropzone (on the mac) with the Dropbox extension there ́s another extension in the Github repository which supposedly also uploads to Google Docs. A temporary solution at least.

This would kill for me. Gdocs = interface. Dropbox = trusted repository. Gdocs + Dropbox = Fully in the Cloud, y'all!

This feature would ROCK! I love Dropbox, but managing my Google Docs is painful... yet they need to be online to share with my team.

Just added my vote for this, syncplicity is a bit too pricy at $45p/mo

Some times it seems that certain requirement from customers are not in the plan for companies, nor as part the customer attention process. As Linkedin that does not plan to make a BB version, it seems that Dropbox is not going to provide a Google docs sync mecanism and no interest on say it to their users

Please. Please. Please!

Dropbox rules, and Syncplicity sucks for pulling Macsupport (this is a massive opportunity for Dropbox).

I would be lovely if Dropbox would give us a yes/no on whether this will be included and if so a timeline.

I'm on the cusp of paying and moving ALL of my photosharing and backup to dropbox - this would help.

We do need this integration. Docs and Dropbox are both awesome. I'm rooting for Google to acquire Dropbox. Am I too optimistic?

I love dropbox. It's like using a flashdrive, without the risk of losing it. I use it to sync Windows files at work with my Mac at home. The dropbox folder shows up in your My Documents folder. Transfer files like it was a plugged-in flashdrive, and it's free. If you sign up for dropbox through a referral, you get an extra 250 meg of storage for free. Here is a referral link: Get Dropbox
