I can't link to my account on Android app

I have set up and activated an account on your website. On the android app, I go to settings, My Account. It shows an email address and user name that has nothing to do with me. I click Link to another account, and enter my email address, click on link to that email, and it says Whoops couldn't find that user. What am I doing wrong?

Hi David - I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with Drync! I'll do my best to try to help you out.

We have experienced the prefill of someone else's email address just a few times previously, and seems to happen when a device is running a modified ROM, or when it has been purchased uses, from overseas. Are either of these the case with your device? We are looking into ways to work around this issue, and will be in touch asap, but in the meantime if you could let us know the answer to that question, it would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

Thank you for your prompt reply. I have an unmodified Dell Streak on Froyo. I live in the UK.

I tried re-entering my details, and my details have now been recognised, so the problem is now resolved.

That's great! Please let us know if you have any further issues. You are the first confirmed Streak user of Drync that I am aware of, so I'd be curious to hear if there are any issues.

I have a Dell Venue Pro with the same problem. I downloaded the app from the android market - someone else's name is in the account settings and it will not let me change it
