I want to turn off cellar sharing but Drync won't let me!

I want to turn off cellar sharing -- I write private notes to myself and have no desire to share with others. How do I turn off? (Something I never turned on, btw).

Hi,

Private Notes in Drync will never be shared. It's only the Tasting Notes field that is shared. If you want to make a private note, place your comment in the private note field.

That said, I'm not sure exactly what you mean about "cellar sharing". If you mean, sharing what you add to your Drync cellar on facebook and twitter, then you go to the Settings page in the app and turn "cellar sharing" off. But I think what you mean is that you don't want to share your tasting notes with other people on the site, in which case, refer to my answer above.

Thanks, Brad. So from now on, I will only write private notes, but what about all my pre-existing personal tasting notes that I've written in the past?

I would go to the website (rather than the mobile app) - www.drync.com - and copy and paste each of the Tasting Notes into the Private Notes field. I know it's a hassle, but that's all I can offer unfortunately.

Sorry!
