Is Dwolla intermediate account required?

I want to use Dwolla to pay a group of 3rd party technicians regularly. Do I need to keep money within a Dwolla account to do this, or is linking my outside bank account enough to facilitate the transaction directly to their Dwolla accounts?

I know that I can set a minimum balance to make sure Dwolla keeps the account funded. Is that the answer to this?

I didn't see this before, but my question is essentially the same as this one:

I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of response from the dwolla team on this though.

My apologies for the delay in response. The answer is that to make quick and prompt payments, you should probably keep a balance in your Dwolla account. It is possible to pay with your bank account ("Bank Funded Transaction"), but that takes a little longer, whereas paying with your Dwolla balance is instant.
