hey gropes. I saw your question in another thread.
Look at this link

https://market.android.com/details?id...

If you search android market on any android device or on a PC you should get this.

Assuming of course you are not using a really really old android device (e.g. running 1.6 o/s) in which case it won't be supported.

Make sure you are searching for "echoecho" and you should find it no problem.

Btw - what country are you in - we have tested this ourselves in about 20 countries so far but we assumed it works in the others as the link is the same regardless of country

question answered elsewhere - unfortunately gropes' device only has 2.1 android. echoecho requires 2.2 or higher.

Also cannot find the app on Android Market on my HTC Magic,
nor on my Motorola Xoom tablet !?!
Seems to be a problem with the security certificate in the name of the company
not matching the certificate.
I'm in Canada adn would love to get my friends all on echoecho since we are travelling about quite a bit and it would be very useful in meeting up en route.
Hope you can help.
Frederick.

I assume you have android 2.2 (or higher) on both those devices...not sure about how you are not seeing echoecho in the android market but we will look into this.

What makes you think the problem is to do with security certificates btw ?

Frederick - could you give us more information on this - we'd love to try to figure out what's going on. I checked the HTC Magic on Rogers (just a guess) and it looks like they never upgraded it past 2.1. But the Motorola Xoom should be on Android 2.2 so I'm not sure what's going on here...

Could you check your Android version (on settings -> About Phone) - it should tell us what version of Android you are running...

The HTC Magic is only 2.1 but the Xoom is 3.0 and I can't even find the app in the Market.
On the Internet, the security certificate has some incompatibility; the name of the site and the name on the certificate are not the same, and will not allow me to download.

I was wrong. you are correct. We do not currently support tablets (the new version does which is what I have been testing and why I made the mistake) - but the existing market version does not. Sorry for the confusion.

I found and installed it with no problem. I'm on 2.3. Unfortunately it doesn't send out friend invites, but hey...

hey @merebold...could you email us directly to help(at)echoecho.me - we'd like to know more details about your issue with sending out friend invites...just tested it personally in US and UK and it seems to be working fine.
