Archiving MSOL email with personal domain

I have a microsoft small business account with a personally registered domain name and I am looking to archive all the mail from the different accounts which I have with them.

Even though this is a personal domain it uses the MS Live credentials so I have tried archiving POP3 account using host as pop3.live.com with my normal email address and passwords which work fine when put into Outlook 2010.

When I test this connection I get the error message "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time...."

Please help as MSOL is due to close at the end of the month and I want to archive all my past mails.

Thanks Tim but this pulled up an error 'system null reference exception...'

The thing is that these are not full exchange accounts they work on the same lines as hotmail or live accounts and I currently pull the information using the pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com settings directly in Outlook.

DO you have any other suggestions??

Thanks for any help.

Have you tried with POP3-SSL protocol and checked option "Ignore SSL Warnings" ?
