Which version of MailStore Home do you try to install?
Was there a version of MailStore Home already installed when tried to install it?
Please deactivate your anti-virus program temporarily during the installation process.

Hello Tim!

Good day! And thanks for the quick response. I have turned off/disabled my anti-virus (clamwin) but still had the same issue. I am using the latest version of mailstore home which is available on the mailstore website. I am installing it on a windows 2003 server box which I have. I am running hmailserver, postgresql, filezilla, apache2 on the same server. I tried to disable hmailserver and apache2 during install but to no avail.

Please download 'Process Explorer' from Microsoft http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sy...
to find out which process additionally has access on your MailStore archive directory.
Start 'Process Explorer', klick on 'Find' -> Find Handle or DLL ... and enter the path of your archive directory

By the way:
MailStore Home is for private use, for business purposes please use MailStore Server.

Hi Tim!

Thanks for this, I will do this now. Also, i'll be using Mailstore Home for my domain "binarysalad.com" which me and my family use (dad, sister, wife, brother, me).

Please do the following:
1) reboot the server
2) create a new windows user with local administration rights
3) login with that new user and disable anti-virus program temporarily
4) install MailStore in "C:\Program Files\deepinvent\MailStore Home"

If the error still appears what values do the system and user variables for TEMP and TMP have?
System Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables -> User variables ->
