Hello Gad,

do you receive an error message?
If so, can you click "Details" in the status window, and in the following window "Debugprotocol", "Show in Editor" and post the error details here?
This way we might find out what caused this behaviour.

Can you quote the settings made in that archiving profile?
Did you exclude any folders?

Generally, there are no limitations in MailStore Home that wouldn't allow you to archive all the messages found on a server.

Technically, there are also sometimes limitations set by server providers.

If you are willing to provide more detailed informations about your personal setup, we can better solve specific issues.

If this happens repeatedly, you can create a "Debug-Log". This debug-log file helps us to investigate.

Please investigate for error messages. Do not post the complete log in here to preserve your privacy.
Only post lines that state an error.

thanks, it works now - it was a limit in my gmail imap settings (up to 1000 msgs per folder)

Thank you Gad,

I discovered the same and learned something. It is not so by default, but there is a setting in the IMAP/POP settings where you can limit the amout of mails being shown over IMAP.
This can be handy when accessing gmail with a mobile client, so you don't see and therefor not load the oldest mails over 1000 in the past.
But for a complete archiving, this must not be set to make any mail accessible.
