Mailstore search facility has stopped working.

After many years of using Mailstore the search facility has stopped working, returning 'no results match the search criteria'. A single asterix will return all records but nothing else works. I upgraded to the latest version. All the e-mails are in the archive and accessible but still the search facility returns nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Brett,

can you please look at the [Administrative Tools] and check the paragraph [Search Index]?
What does [Current State] say?
You may try to reset your search index by clikcing [Rebuild Index].

Sorry for the slow reply, I wasn't expecting a response so quickly.

The current state is blank. I don't need to search attachments. I have just started a rebuild of the index and will let you know the result.

The re-indexing did the trick. I am a bit surprised as the upgrade had suggested the indexes had been recreated.

Anyway, thanks once again for your help. All is now good.

Hi Brett,

then I guess something must have gone wrong during the update as the indexing should have been restartet automatically.
I am happy you are now up-to-date for proper search results.
