I would like to see an iPhoto Plugin or integration to the Eye-Fi site that stores the pictures uploaded.

Hi Julio,

Thanks for this suggestion. Just to be clear, are you looking for a solution that syncs photos from the Eye-Fi Cloud service to your computer and then into iPhoto?

Hola Larry ;-)

I think that on a Mac to be honest the concept of syncing to the Mac in a specific directory like it does currently is a redundant. I think a better solution would be to just sync to iPhoto [of course, that assumes that everyone that uses a Mac and takes pictures leverages iPhoto]. Ideally I think when the user inserts the card on the Mac or a card reader attached to the Mac or even they will leverage iPhoto and load the pictures to iPhoto directly. The only time that at least for me personal the Eye-Fi Mobi software has value is when not inserting the mobi card in the computer and instead leaving it in the camera and turning the camera on and even then is redundant since the camera can be connected to the Mac USB Port; unless there is an API for iPhoto to recognized wifi devices including a camera which I don't think Apple has that. But oh boy..I have gone all over from the topic LOL.

My suggestion is more related with a Plug-in for iPhoto to communicate directly with the Eye-Fi Cloud Service for what we are testing. Think of how iPhoto currently has a plug in Flickr or Facebook, etc [and I hate to compare cause those product that you all have is way more superior]. That would be more user friendly when the user takes a lot of pictures and might not necessily loaded to the Eye-Fi Cloud Service from their iPhone or any other device and instead uses iPhoto to load the pictures from the Mac to iPhoto and then wanting to upload either a full iPhoto Event and/or a selected set of photos to the Eye-Fi Cloud Service to then share it. The way that I see it now is that to load to the Eye-Fi Cloud Service is only using the mobile devices with the mobile device app.

Thanks for the clarification Julio. Good ideas, a plug-in for iPhoto and direct import from Mobi into iPhoto deserve some consideration as we move forward. I'll be sure to share these ideas with the product team. Thanks again.
