I’m Sad

AS2 does not work for my iPad 2.

It was working just fine for the last 4 months. Then just today I tried to load arcade solitaire 2 and it shows the main menu but it doesn't load when I click to play. It's like it doesn't recognize when I tap the screen. Then it boots me back to my desktop with apps.

    Thank you for reporting this issue.

    This is the first we have heard of this and I am not sure what is causing this to happen. We've checked our end and it seems to be running just fine. Have you tried killing the app from your multi-task tray at the bottom? Whatever you do, do not delete and reinstall the app, otherwise you will lose all of your progress including coins you've purchased).

    Here are a couple of things you can try:

    1) As mentioned above. Killing the app from multi-task by pressing the home button twice. A tray with the apps you are currently running will appear. Scroll through until you find AS2 and press down on it for about a second. An X will appear allowing you to close it. Once you've closed it, try running AS2 from your desktop again.

    If that doesn't work, you could also try:

    2) Rebooting the iPad by holding down the power button until it gives you the option to power down. After the reboot, try launching AS2.

    Please let me know if you are still having issue starting a game. I'll do my best to assist you as much as I can.

    That is very strange.

    Would you be able to provide the following details:

    iPad version: 1, 2 or 3?
    iOS version#

    I will see if one of our developers can figure it out. We've never experienced anything like it before so it may take some time to troubleshoot.

    How far along are you in the game? If you are not too far along and have not purchased any coins, then you could try reinstalling the AS2. Otherwise, we will see what we can do on our end.

  • I have an iPad 2 and I just downloaded the update on iOS last night. So I now have iOS 5.1.1. I was on level 25. Would rather see if you guys can find out what's wrong with it first before I uninstall it. Thanks.

  • It started working again! I have no idea what happened but I'm happy I get to play again :)

      That is awesome news! I am glad to hear you can play again but it is still very strange that it had stopped working for a bit.
