Eurotherm 902P Temperature Controller display brightness

Is there a way to increase the brightness of the 902P controller display? It looks like it may have gotten inadvertently turned down so low it's barely visible. Otherwise it functions as advertised.

It could be one of a couple things. The best way forward is to contact one of our authorized service centers, they will be able to help you get your unit back up and running. In the US, they can be reached at 703-724-7313 or repairs.eurotherm.us@schneider-electr....

  • Could you list the couple of things for me? I'd like to repair this at the component level if possible; but, this looks like it might be a user error rather than an electronics problem. The controller power supply and display boards appear to be working because the controller is able to be programmed, etc. Is there a way through the controller interface adjust the brightness or would I need to replace the display, perhaps? I can still see it, just barely.

It could be the display or a number of other age dependent components. The best way to proceed is to contact one of our authorized service centers and make arrangements to have the unit sent in for repair.

The unit does not have any type of display adjustment. You're seeing signs of age and the unit needs serviced.

The other option is to consider replacing the unit with one of our newer models. Our Help Desk can help you determine the proper replacement. In the US, they can be reached at 703-724-7316 or via email at US.Support@schneider-electric.com.
