    Hi Roberto,

If you are using 1A and 1C to control a motorized valve you cannot use the same contacts for two different functions.

You can use another Relay output for an alarm or change the function of 1A and 1C and use that as an alarm.

  • Hi Bob,
so your recommendation is to install another module and set it as an alarm???
My controller has two empty slots for a new modules 2A and 5A, Do you think I can use one of them to use it as an alarm?? If so, Do I have to follow the same programing steps??
    Thanks

    Hello Roberto,

Slot 5A is not supported in 2404, so use 2A.
So if you wish to add an additional Relay I recommend to use 2A for an alarm.

I would use Steps 1-7 to enter config level, Then Page to AL -> AL1 set your alarm type.

    Then steps 9 - 30, but select 2A for step 9.
