Nanodac loop setpoint from plc or from unit itself

We have some furnaces using Nanodac controllers for PID control, which are communicating to an Allen-Bradley plc via Ethernet/IP. The problem I'm having is if I have the plc send the loop setpoint to a nanodac, I am no longer able to change the setpoint on the Nanodac itself without the plc overwriting the value. Does somebody know a way to accomplish this?

    Hello Bryan,
There are a couple of ways of doing this, you could write to the Alternate setpoint which means someone would have to turn the remote input off to use the standard setpoint - This could be done using a volt free contact, maybe a key switch.
or select between setpoint 1 / setpoint 2, again, someone needs to select between the SP's
