PC3000 Program.

Good morning, I have a PC3000 running, but I lost the schedule. It has the heating control function of a Polytype extruder. Can someone help me with this problem? Or have a backup of a file similar to that?

Thank you

''Bom dia, tenho um PC3000 em funcionamento, porém perdi a programação. Ele tem a função de controle de aquecimento de uma extrusora da Polytype. Alguem pode me ajudar com esse problema? Ou que tenha o backup de um arquivo similar a esse?

Obrigado''

    Hi Artur,

Unfortunately the PC3000 has not been manufactured for 20+ years. As a result, the business has little knowledge of the product, and very little equipment.

The likelihood is that the power was turned off and the internal battery used to maintain the configuration in memory had depleted. These typically have a shelf life of 2 years.

Unless it is explicitly arranged between Eurotherm and the customer through a service contract, it is down to the customer to maintain backups of their configurations.

I would suggest that you email ventas.eurotherm.es@schneider-electri... as a first point of contact.

Not having the source code is very unhandy in reconstructing the functionality.
Even with the source code it is difficult to re-engineer it.
I have programmed and converted many PC3000 over the years.
Most of its power was used to drive communications and user screens or scada.
    I suggest to make an inventory;
    - Hardware inputs/outputs
    - Amount of heating/coo;ong loops.
    - Pressure gauges and other utilities attached
    - Communicatio lines.

    From the HMI
    - Screenshots with functionality
    - recipies
    - Sequential power up / power down step info?

    From the manuals
    - Descriptions
    - User and operational machine guides
    - Drawings

Extruders are not a mystery to us so we must be able to help out.

    Succes
