The ability to print out Family Group Records seems to be missing from the options available on "Person pages". Retaining that ability would mean less handwriting needs to be done when providing a listing of names + Family Search ID's + birth, death and marriage dates, etc. without the need of printing several pedigree records to, ostensibly, achieve the same result. Easier to file is also a plus. Pedigree sheets will obviously still be useful and needed.
At least part of my problem is related to the deterioration of my handwriting skills which results in written notes becoming unreadable. With the "skills" being taught in today's schools it won't be too long before the upcoming generations will be even less able to read handwriting.

Not sure what I am not understanding but when I look at the person page at the very bottom on the far right column are print options. There is one entitled --- Family - When I click on that link a PDF file is generated which is the Family Group record for the selected person as a Father or Mother. Is that not what you are looking for. The only issue I can think of is you do not have a PDF application associated with your browser.

They're right there at the bottom right: Print - Family and Print - Family with Sources. They generate a PDF, which you can do with what you please, including printing it.

That is what I truly expected to see when I saw the response to my search for an answer, but what I see is only the "Print" option with no further choices showing under that heading. Running Windows 10, I have several programs on my computer capable of generating PDF files along with Open Office as my primary word processor.
If there is something I need to set up in relation to those programs I would appreciate being instructed.
Thanks for the responses.- view 4 more comments

Echoing Amy: are you even using a browser, or are you on a phone or something and using an app? (I've never tried using FS on anything other than my laptop.) There is no printer icon on the website, anywhere, that I know of.

Sorry for taking so long. Whether using Firefox or Chrome the problem is the same. In addition when clicking on "Options" in the upper right hand corner of the active area the resulting window (menu) extends below the top edge of the taskbar but there is no arrow and clicking on the sliver of text does not change any options for printing. (What I called a printer icon was simply some figure to the left of the word "Printer" which, in my haste at the time, I assumed to be an icon for a printer.)

Or, are you looking at the landscape view (pedigree) and wanting to print a family group record?
In the landscape view, you can see Options and you can see a printer icon for printing the pedigree chart.
You need to select the person you want to print a family group record for, and click on their name in the landscape view and when the contact card pops up, select "Person" at the bottom of the card. Then you will go to their detail screen as shown above and you will see the PRINT option at the bottom of the right column.
Is this what you are currently viewing?

The only screens that have options in the upper right are Tree screens. Ron you need to go the person page of one of the familys to print the Family Group Sheets.

Thank you. The key, for me at least, was referencing the page I was working with as a Tree Screen. I see that my biggest problem stemmed from misunderstanding the original reference to "Person page", a terminology that to some may have been completely understandable. Unfortunately for me, I was not in that group of "some." I'll gladly give this a try at my earliest opportunity.
Again, thanks. -

Ted, the Print menu we've all been talking about is on a person's detail page. My screen isn't big enough to show the entire right-hand menu at once like Amy did, but here's the bottom of such a page, with the Print menu circled:
I also put a red arrow pointing at the little triangle that expands or collapses that section of the right-hand menu. -
