I’m anxious to see good ideas STAY

Return Pilot search filter features to the FS Record Search

The advanced search on the pilot is ever so much easier to use. Can the two be integrated to make it look more like the other. It was so nice to have it in pedigree format. And searching was so quick and efficient. It made it possible to find children and families in the census with only first names!

  • I’m disapointed
The ability to select more than one collection to search at one time is very handy. I have a dead end waving in the late 1700's in New Hampshire or Massachusetts. In the pilot I could select 9 separate collections of vital records plus census' that made the search better. (That list is shrinking now at 6 collections). Finding a marriage then searching that married couple as parents put together a family. However because of the history of the area the state line meant very little and the faimly is spread over the state lines in contiguous town in both states ande even the state line split one town into several. Please bring back that capability. Also using the filter terms helped a bit too so bring that feature back
