  • My question is why? Since the printed page contains material that have to be cut (as instructed) into separate cards, there is no need to print page numbers.
    • Often, I print 15 pages of cards. My printer is in another room from my computer. If I have a printer jam or if my kids bring me some of my pages and not others, it is tricky to know if all the pages have printed and if not which I need to reprint.
    • Okay, that is an understandable need for page numbers on the form.

I have my printer sitting on a file cabinet next to my computer.

It is an old workhorse -- an HP 4+ Laser Printer and the thing never has any paper jams. It was built back in the day when HP was designing printers to last and their paper handling mechanism could be serviced as needed.

I not only "Print" a Card ('cut out') version page, to take to the "Temple"; but, I also "Print" a "Back-Up" (that I do not 'cut up') version page, to retain with my records, just in case the actual Cards for the "Temple", go missing; or, get destroyed.

As I indicated in a previous post, for a evening Youth Group visit for our Ward to the "Temple" recently, my youngest was supplied with x14 Cards. Due to Personnel constraints at the "Temple", each of the Youth were limited to x10 Cards each, which was not the problem/issue; but, the problem/issue was that, again due to Personnel constraints at the "Temple" and the sheer volume of Cards that were "Completed" from that group visit, NONE of the Cards could be "Collected" at the end of the session / evening - all the Cards from that group visit had to be left behind at the "Temple" for "Physical" processing; and, subsequently collection on another visit.

In relation to the aforementioned, I am glad I had "Back-Up", just in case.

Plus, it may not always be the case that the Cards for the "Temple" are 'cut-out' immediately, in such cases having the single A4 (elsewhere) pages, would make it easy, for storing in a clear folder/pocket, until 'cut-out' is actioned.

So, in essence, in relation to the suggested enhancement in this post from 'David'; 'Yes', please include the "Page Numbering" function on each page, when more than one page is printed for "Temple" Cards.

    'Thank You'.
