I’m confused.

Put link for ordering films on each catalog entry.

If possible, please put the link for ordering films with the boilerplate information at the bottom of each catalog entry. The boilerplate tells about ordering films but nothing about the new link. It is hard to find where the link is on the patron desktop.

  • When we locate a film/fiche we'd like to order in the catalogue it would be great to be able to click an "Order" button and be taken directly to the film.familysearch.org screen and have the film/fiche number prepopulate or carry over instead of having to sign in to the second site (film.familysearch.org) and then find the film/fiche number we wanted and enter it in to this site. An order this type button in the catalogue would just be great and efficient.

Please have a shopping cart icon beside the film items in the library history catalog so that you do not have to go anywhere else to order them!

  • I’m hoping for more
I would love to be able to look up a place name and have a list of film numbers that are associated with that location. Our Family History Center has an index of all film numbers in the center but not the locations that those films cover. Is there any way that I can find out if my local family history center has films that other patrons have ordered that are in the same area as my own interest.

By the way, I would love to be able to have a link to the library catalog right on the same page as the place where I order my films.

Thanks for all that has been accomplished already!
