Middle click in chrome feedly

I am a Linux user, and I need middle click functionality. I religiously use middle-click to open links in new tabs in Firefox and Chrome.

In Firefox Feedly, middle clicking on headlines correctly opens the link in a new tab. In Chrome, though, middle clicking exactly reproduces left-click, and expands the headline. Control-left-click and right-click-menu-open-new-tab both work normally. This is very frustrating.

this should be an easy fix guys, come on
(see http://unixpapa.com/js/mouse.html )
in the mean time, why not consider adding a "visit site" action link to the wikibar in list view.. example:

Well, thank you very much.

I have to say, a bit poor by the developers.
