Closed Captions for Ultraviolet movies

I have 2 blu-rays with Ultraviolet copies available. I now have the two movies showing up in the Flixster App on my iPad. When I play the movies, I'm unable to have closed captions display. I don't have this problem when I play an iTunes movie. I'm deaf so I rely on the captions to enjoy the movie. Is there a way to see the captions for UV movies on the iPad? If not, I'm done with UV. It's not user friendly at all.

This whole service is useless to me if no captions/subtitles can be provided. If netflix, among others, can provide them and you can't, why would I want to use Ultraviolet?

I've not seen anything to indicate that they support closed captioning/subtitles. A pretty major oversight, in my opinion.

this really sux.....No close caption/subtitles of any kind...I am pretty sure there are PLENTY of DEAF people out there (including me) would love to use this but since no close caption then it is a discrimation against the deaf/hardof hearing. Just that simple...look it up. Seriously..why bother using Ultraviolet...are they that dumb?

I agree with all of the people's comments above me. This is horrible that we deaf people spend $24-$30 dollars for Blue Ray and Digital Copies, become excited to use the digital copy on our computers only to find that Ultraviolet would refer you to Flixster and they don't offer closed captioning on any of the new released movies.

I suggest file a complaint with FCC at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and click on:

Form 2000C - Disability Access Complaint

Then file it against Ultraviolet and Flixster for not providing closed caption.

I already filed my complaint. We need more people to object to this so please file the complaint as well. More people complaining about this issue will rock the Federal Communication Committee........

Ultraviolet and Flixster really SUCK big time because they never provide closed-captioning for any UV and/or Flixster movies. I recommend that you try iTunes - it is the best option for all of us deaf and hard-of-hearing. iTunes sure can provide CC for the new releases of the movies. I copied the movies from iTunes to iPhone and iPad and then viewed the closed-captioned films on iPhone or iPad. Truly amazing!!! Kudos to iTunes!!!

I suggest that Flixster and Ultraviolet be dumped for good.
