Hi Tiffany - iTunes isn't currently UltraViolet-compatible, so you won't be able to store or watch movies there. However, if you install the Flixster Movies app on your iPad (free in the App Store) you will be able to log in and watch your movies via wifi. Mobile download/offline viewing isn't currently available, but is planned for release soon.

That's the most BS excuse for an answer I've ever heard. The box says "downloand to your computer". If you can't do that you are a liar of a company and I want nothing to do with you. FYI - I hold grudges for a lifetime.

I agree! This new digital copy, Ultraviolet, is complete BS. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE THE DIGITAL COPY THRU ITUNES. I just won't pay the extra money for digital copy editions of movies if they are thru ultraviolet. I thought the whole point of ultraviolet was that it was going to make digital purchases MORE convenient, not LESS.

This new Flixter App is CRAP!!! I hate it! I can't even use airplay via my iPad and I have apple TV... and it keeps locking up on me even on YOUR app! This was THE BIGGEST waste of money I have ever spent... I will NOT be buying another movie that requires Flixter unless you make it apple compatible.

I was able to sign up, plug in Harry Potter DHpart 2 code from inside the box and download Ipad app. I can stream movie on wifi or download to ipad, but it is a huge file relatively speaking... but it was not that difficult. I did not connect my facebook login. I did not try to play through Itunes. The only bummer, could not register for Ultraviolet and Flixster on my ipad, had to go to pc... what's the deal there?

This is a total waste of time. Now I have to download more Adobe bloatware and install more useless programs on my computer. On top of that It takes an hour to download this movie to watch on your computer. Cars2 took 5 minutes to download. Who wants to jump through all these hoops, we just want to watch the movie on our ipads. Now I have 6 Harry Potter movies in Itunes and 1 movie in Ultraviolet. This is stupid. I will not be buying anymore of these Warner Brothers Flixter Digital copies.

Then you've just ripped me off. I cannot use it on my iPad, so therefore you've charged me for a download I CANNOT USE! Added to that WB did not make an HD Download available in the iTunes Store, aka the Store that DOES NOT rip me off.

Never, ever again will I use your piece of crap service. Not when you've stolen my money and not given me the service you advertised.

And what if you don't have an iPad? I have an iPod classic, and I wanted to put Part 2 on my iPod (because I have Part 1 on there too), and you're telling me I can't do this? This is absolutely absurd! I waited for FOUR hours and 17 minutes for the movie to download to my computer so I could put it on my iTunes, and now I can't. This was the worst idea ever.

I guess folks at WB don't travel. I like to watch my movies on my ipad when I am flying and don't have internet access, Or I don't want to pay $10 a night internet access when I am in a hotel, to watch a movie that I bought. I should have control where, when and how I want to watch my movies. WB, you taught us how to watch your movies, and based on that I bought this one, but this is theft, as you robbed me of my choices that you provided to us with the previous versions, and you opted not to mention it on the packaging of your movie boxes.

I agree, I wan't my $ back. I read on another site that if you do the following you may bet a iTunes code? I am gonna try it out. I haven't had much luck going to this URLn though:
Submit a support ticket through: http://support.ultraviolet.flixster..... Filled in Name/Email
Put in a Summary (something to the effect of the movies not working on iOS devices and needingthem in iTunes)
Put in the Comment/Question that I need the movies in iTunes and that is why I buy didgital copies so that I can watch them on my iOS devices, otherwise I wouldn't buy them... etc...
You may also want to save yourself some back and forth in emails and give them your origional redemption code that came in the DVD/BR sleeve.
Filled in Issue Type as "Playback"
Device as iPhone/iPad (don't remember which I put)
Title as "Harry Potter 7 - Part 2"
Rate your Flixster UV Experience: I put "Poor"
Clicked the Finish Button..

I AGREE. What's the use of a digital download if you can't watch it offline?!

The only place I can watch it online is right next to my bluray player at home (and that's only if the internet reaches sufficient speed) - why would I want to do that?! - even if I could work out HOW to download it - currently it only says that in order to download it certain things have to be installed: it doesn't help me to install them, let alone do it for me.

WB what on earth are you doing? I agree: it's criminal: I bought this under the impression that I was getting a digital copy too. After all, it does say "Watch wherever you go with Ultraviolet Digital Copy" - totally, totally misleading and in my view an illegal definition.! Appalling.

I can't download it and even if I could I'd not be able to use it except where I don't want or need to! Also, the only way I can redeem my code is by allowing WB access for 6 hours to my account. I'm given the option not to allow them access, but then I can't get access to UltraTerrible - sorry UltraViolet - (makes me feel ultraviolent!). Is that legal...?

iTunes - like all Apple products - "Works simply - and Simply works"! UV simply doesn't. WB wouldn't you rather be associated with a great system....?! Or is associating yourself with completely useless rip-offs your new policy...?!!! I agree - shame on you WB! If I'd known how awful this was I'd have bought the movie on iTunes Hi Def and not bought the disc.

I certainly won't be buying any more discs featuring a "Watch wherever you go with Ultraviolet Digital Copy" - totally, totally misleading and in my view an illegal definition.! Appalling.

By the way FLIXSTER - I love your cinema what's on iPhone app and use it all the time. Or rather I used to. But you have PLUMMETED in my estimation now through your association with this appalling Ultraviolet "service". If anyone can tell me the point of having a digital copy that is not actually portable, please do....!!!

Of course, I wrote to WB and Flixster about this and received no response. What appalling companies! How can they associate themselves with this farce of a system without realising it will ruin their reputation...?

Warner Bos = Lehman Bros....?

Look at her question, She says she does not have the ability to stream movies on her devices. I want to download my movie to my computer not stream, I don't have a good enough internet connection to stream movies. Why can't I have that option? I am not going to use your service or recommend it either. Seconded movie that I have bought and I can't use the digital copy.

This is sh**. I can not believe I spent money on this, I always get the pack with digital/bluray/dvd. Never again will i buy anything that says UltraViolet. I got harry potter and went to download it from flexster and created a account on both flixster and ultraviolet and keep getting an error message saying it will not link. I verified both email and contacted them. I still have not been able to put in the redeem code. You can talk about Apple all you want but at least there stuff works.

WB really screwed up this time. Blindsided everyone to generate interest in their no name service. Give the consumer what they want, ease and usability. This new service which requires addition software, does neither. I can't put it in my Itunes library, the original web site for the down load was not there, I have to sign up for a new service, download a new app. WB service was bad before, now it is just awefull. Thank goodness this is the last Potter, I will not be getting anything from here again. I will buy the BR andjust go to Itunes to get the digital.

I probably won't be utilizing any more digital downloads of movies through this service if I cannot use iTunes with them! I just checked the download....it keeps going between 32 minutes to 15 minutes left, but that has been going on for almost an hour now! If I was using iTunes it would have already been downloaded! NONE of my digital movies through iTunes has taken more than 4 minutes to download! After about 50 minutes the copy of HP7.2 has only downloaded 25%!

agree.... this is completely worthless. I bought the bluray with the download thinking it was like all the other downloads and I could download it to my itunes account and have it stored on my ipad. no such luck. this was a HORRIBLE mistake by WB, and I'm sure WB will hear about this. Strongly considering returning this movie, getting a cheaper copy and then buying the movie on itunes. I've wasted a whole day on this BS!

I don't want Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt 2 in Ultraviolet. I want it in iTunes like all of the rest of the Harry Potter movies that I have. I have blasted Warner Brothers/Flixter/UltraViolet on every message board and social website that I have access too because everyone needs to know what a complete piece of crap this new digital copy process is. You need to be straight up and say on the packaging that the digital copy we are BUYING will be in a closed environment and if there isn't an app for your device you can't watch it. Also that if you would like to continue watching movies how you always have than your out of luck because Warner Brothers is going to force you to use UltraViolet. Who is the idiot at the top that made this decision? Do you really think that this is a better way to control digital piracy? If consumers are able to get a digital copy and use it as they would like they wouldn't have to burn copies that have no DRM at all. I have always understood that the movie studios are only about making money, but this completely renforces that because this is all about the money not the customer. So that is my problem... UltraViolet sucks, I don't want to use it and I want my digital copy that I PAID for in iTunes. How do I fix that?

UV, UVsupport are a large disappointment. If you own an iPad 1 don't bother buying digital copies as they are not able to put them on as iPad iOS is 5.1.1 and cannot go any higher. They advertise that it is compatible, but it's not. Support is less than useless as they send the same generic emails out over and over without actually reading your problem. Once you explain it, they basically tell you too bad. Can't help. Don't buy Anything with UV digital copies. Bad advertising and bad service don't deserve business.

Yes, you can "download" the movie to your itouch/ipad/idevice - you can watch it without being connected to the internet. However, you cannot adjust it - either you need to always have it there (taking up tons of space) or you have to delete it and then redownload it when you want it again. However, you only get 5 downloads (I think.) I've already used 2 trying to get this to work!!!

I agree with everyone. This is false advertising. I would have just bought the digital copy through itunes and saved money on the "multipack" DVD!!

I want my money back, this is not a real digital copy. A digital copy means you can download the file, and transfer it to ITUNES or an IPOD, etc. It means you can watch it without wi-fi because it is supposed to be a file you downloaded, not streaming. WTF. WB should NEVER have used this stupid flickster POS. What happened to using ITUNES, which actually works unlike stupid flickster.

Shame on WB.

Oh I know, but it actually takes less on iPad then on computer, I downloaded on both, my iPad it was 792 mb on computer it's 2gb I don't think I think about size I have a 64 gb iPad, on my phone is a diff story but I guess I could stream that. You won't be able to get it again. My issue is also about space. I cannot take it off of my ipod to put more things for my 5 yo. It is always there, so I have to take off music or not put as many kid appropriate things on my device. I don't have any control over it!

What a scam ... I'm sure no returns will be allowed now that I've opened the package and found that I can't play this digital copy through iTunes or on an AppleTV. Way to go WB, Flixster, Ultraviolet, etc., way to ruin Digital Copy!

FYI, I never comment on anything, this is the first instance that I've been so upset by being duped as a consumer that I've deemed to write a review (other than the one I just left on iTunes for the Flixster app). Something to think about company.
