Shorten tab height?

Is there any way to shorten the height of the tabs? I have looked in the config settings and didn't see anything. I want to shorten them to maximize the display area as much as possible. The default tabs in Firefox are shorter and I'd like to get the Flock tabs at least as short as that, if not more.

Hi LDMartin1959, here's something you can try...

First, locate your profile folder by following these instructions. It contains a folder called "chrome". Go into the chrome folder and create a file called userChrome.css. Use a text editor to add this bit of CSS code to the file:

.tabbrowser-tab {
height: 20px !important;
min-height: 20px !important;
max-height: 20px !important;
.tab-image-right, .tab-image-left, .tab-image-middle {
min-height: 20px !important;
max-height: 20px !important;
.tab-text {
margin-top: 1px !important;
.tab-close-button > .toolbarbutton-icon {
margin-top: 1px !important;
.tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox > .scrollbutton-up,
.tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox .scrollbutton-down,
.tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox .scrollbutton-down-box,
.tabbrowser-tabs .tabs-alltabs-box,
.tabbrowser-tabs .tabs-alltabs-box-animate,
.tabbrowser-tabs .tabs-alltabs-button {
height: 21px !important;
margin: 1px !important;
.tabbar-newtab-button {
height: 21px !important;

Then restart Flock. Your tabs should now be shorter in height.

Hope that helps!
